We are investing in a modern tech­no­logy and know­ledge centre at our site in Minden. This innov­ative centre not only hosts training courses and events for customers, visitor groups and employees, but also provides space for prac­tical training and product testing. With a state-of-the-art training building, a roof garden with a foot­ball pitch and a focus on sustain­ab­ility, this project not only continues our expan­sion at the Minden site, but also offers our customers, part­ners and employees an inspiring envir­on­ment to work together on forward-looking solu­tions. What is done at the TWZ?

TWZ in general

The TWZ provides the plat­form for the group of companies on which we work together with our part­ners such as customers, machine manu­fac­turers, suppliers, but also asso­ci­ations and other trades.

The versatile building complex enables us to realise a wide variety of events. With the TWZ, we are able to cater to the most indi­vidual require­ments and operate at a profes­sional event level.

  • Internal events: Various courses, seminars and training sessions (e.g. meth­od­o­logy training, English courses, commu­nic­a­tion modules) give employees a deeper under­standing of products and services, leading to more effective util­isa­tion.
  • Meeting rooms: The ability to use meeting rooms for both internal and external meet­ings offers customers flex­ib­ility and conveni­ence when organ­ising meet­ings and present­a­tions.
  • After-Work: The use of leisure facil­ities such as a foot­ball pitch, basket­ball court, rooftop lounge and leisure room with table foot­ball, fitness equip­ment and table tennis, promotes the work-life balance of employees and helps to increase employee engage­ment and promote a healthy life­style.

  • Customer events: New and existing customer events offer customers the oppor­tunity to interact with the company and other customers, which promotes rela­tion­ship building and the iden­ti­fic­a­tion of syner­gies.
  • Asso­ci­ation events: Specialist confer­ences enable customers to acquire industry-specific know­ledge and find out about current trends and devel­op­ments, which strengthens their compet­it­ive­ness.
  • Further educa­tion / training: Continuing educa­tion and training courses enable customers to expand their skills and know­ledge, which promotes their profes­sional devel­op­ment and enhances their perform­ance.

TWZ areas

  • Cookery courses / cooking events (Cusina):
    The Cusina is our show kitchen. The high-class profes­sional equip­ment leaves nothing to be desired.

Whether you’re a profes­sional or amateur chef, you’ll find everything you need to prepare a successful menu here. Exclusive groups of up to 10 people can organise cookery courses, team cooking and show cooking events here or simply spend a culinary evening with good wine and great conver­sa­tion.
Cookery events offer customers the oppor­tunity to network in a relaxed atmo­sphere and gain new culinary exper­i­ences together, which strengthens the sense of community.

  • Roof Top Arena
    THAT is really exclusive. The 20 x 11m Roof Top Arena with hard surface is the undis­puted high­light of the TWZ. An evening foot­ball match with flood­lights and good music followed by a brat­wurst barbecue? — No problem. The fully enclosed sports field is also suit­able for basket­ball, hand­ball or even volley­ball. And all of this with a far-reaching view over the roofs of the Follmann premises into the Porta West­falica.
  • The Roof Top Lounge includes the areas of the roof garden and the BBQ pavilion and is the ideal place for informal customer events, celeb­ra­tions, after-work/team events

  • Leisure Room
    The Leisure Room is the exten­sion to the Roof Top Arena and invites visitors to take part in other sporting activ­ities. The hobby room with rowing machines, table tennis table, table foot­ball and dart­board can be used at any time and without prior booking. Have fun!
  • TWZ rooms: FORUM
    The Forum is the all-rounder of the TWZ and is by far the room with the largest capa­city.
    With 311m² of space, state-of-the-art media equip­ment and a high-quality sound system, the lecture theatre can accom­modate up to 130 (170) people and is ideal for seminars, lectures, work­shops and all kinds of busi­ness events. It is also possible to divide the room into 1/3 — 2/3 using a mobile parti­tion wall to provide a suit­able setting for smaller groups.

The two identical confer­ence rooms, Meeting Point I and Meeting Point II, on the upper floor offer a little more discre­tion. Wire­less screen control and the adjoining coffee bar provide the best condi­tions for creative meet­ings with up to 12 people — panor­amic views of the Roof Top Lounge and the Soccer Court included.
